Cabana boys

Today was absolutely gorgeous, so I decided to prop up our little
beach cabana in the yard and get us outside for a bit.

We had fun playing games and then chilling in the shade (with their iPads). :)

Look who turned 3 today!

Jon took the day off to hang out with Callum today. His big request was getting a donut, which they had as a late morning snack just before Callum passed out for a long nap. :)

We're headed out to a pizza dinner with Uncle Zane, then back home for presents and cookies and cake!

Can't believe our littlest one is now THREE!  We love you bunches kiddo!! :)

Make your own pizza night!

Haven't been to Pizza My Heart in awhile so we decided to head over
for a fun dinner tonight (Tuesdays are "Make your own pizza" for kids
- such a great idea!).

When boys go shopping

This is the result of allowing Logan to pick out a birthday gift for
his brother, and Jon not thinking there's anything wrong with it. :)

I, personally, was surprised to see they marked it as appropriate for
ages 3 and up, with such a gruesome scary skull face! Just another
sign I'm getting old - esp. since Callum will probably totally love it
and not be at all disturbed by the scariness of it. ;-)

Learning chess

It's early, I know. And we didn't last through a full game. But, Logan
has been watching the older school aged kids at his school play chess
and has been begging us to teach him.

Picture Time!

It's that time of year again!  The one time I indulge and spend gobs of money on staged corny school pictures!  ;-)

But, I do love how they turn out, regardless of the cheese.

To this day, I still flip through my school pictures of myself and my young friends (you know, back in the day when we exchanged actual pictures and wrote little notes to each other on the backs!).

So, perhaps someday, the boys' wives (because c'mon, let's be honest, we know it won't be the boys) will appreciate, love and laugh at these good ol' times too.  ;-)
