Last Access

Today was a big day. Callum finally had his port removed.

Here he is during pre-op, where he had one last access to his port. (They used his port to give him anesthesia, then once he was out, they put an IV in his hand to transfer meds to that, so that they could then remove his port).

Yesterday, Callum and I ran to the store to pick up a few things. I told him he could get whatever he wanted for his post-surgery snacks and meal.

So, this is what we bought. :)

Dad's Home!

Jon was away this last week at TwitchCon. The boys were bummed they couldn't go this year (it wasn't local), but cheered up when he brought them home some goodies. :)

In case you were wondering, this is what 20lbs of chocolate mints looks like, all bagged and ready to be labeled and wrapped with ribbon. Phew!!

Pep talks

Callum wasn't in any mood to play today. Logan tried several times to motivate him and get him out on the field. He was mildly successful ;-) but I appreciated the effort.
