Logan's class is creating (and learning about) their own economy system. They've created their own money - they'll have to pay taxes for their desks, work jobs, get paid salaries but also have fees, etc. I'm looking forward to hearing more about how it'll all work!
Yesterday, they had to turn in job applications. Today, they have their job interviews.
Logan is interviewing for one of the banker positions. Good luck buddy! You're going to do great. 😘

Graham Cracker House
Today I had fun hanging out and helping Logan make a graham cracker house in his class. He was so proud of his creation afterwards. :)

Another day, another mission! 😄
Logan loved finding the clues which allowed him to hear a secret message when he'd call into the "spy base" tonight. 😊
Interestingly, the last 4 digits of the number to call was a phoneword.... I had to explain to him how to interpret it into numbers to dial. He nodded knowingly, "It's like another secret code!" 😂😂

Level 9 Complete!
Today, a dozen of Logan's closest friends came over to help him celebrate his birthday! He has now entered the world of double digits and I can hardly believe it! 😱😱 To commemorate this milestone (and because I'm finding it harder to tap into my creative juices as they get older!), we rented a game truck for the main event. The boys switched between shooting out pigs with angry bird (plushie) launchers in the backyard and video gaming inside the "boy cave" of a truck on the driveway. I set up a table with a ton of junk food snacks in the garage, to keep their energy going. ;-)
After a couple of hours, the truck took off and we served up burgers, hot dogs and a delicious ice cream cake, before he opened up a bunch of gifts and then bid goodbye.
Once the craziness had calmed down and all the kids were gone, Logan and Callum hung out (playing more games) on our bed all afternoon long. Seemed like a nice ending to a great day to me!
Happy birthday kiddo. We love you to pieces. 😘😘😘

Time of giving
Last year, Logan made Callum a hot chocolate kit at school and was *so* proud when he gave it to his little brother.
This year, it's Callum's turn to be the proud brother (only after making himself a kit too, tho!!). 🤣🤣😍
