Easter Sunday

For Easter, we spent the day hanging out with our old friends, the Cables, doing a bit of arts/crafts, egg dyeing, egg hunting, and video game playing!! We don't see them as much anymore (and, sadly, they're moving out of state soon!), but had a fabulous time catching up, as we always do! :)

Callum turns 9!

I'm catching up on my blogging from the last couple of weeks and am embarrassed to see I didn't blog about Callum's big birthday bash!! (In my defense, I'm having a hard time lately getting posts to work from my phone, and am rarely on my laptop anymore!)

Anyhoo - we had a really nice celebration for our little kiddo over his birthday weekend.  His main party was with three of his closest friends, having the time of their lives, jumping to their hearts' content, at a local trampoline park.

He is growing into such an intelligent, caring, funny guy.... whom we all love very much.  Happiest of birthdays buddy!!

A FB tribute to my Mom

I've been going thru some old family pics today and even tho my mom isn't on FB, I've gotta give a shout out to her on Mother's Day, because she's so amazing. 

No matter what - she's always there to love us, support us, and pick us up when we fall.

We're in Texas, visiting family this week....

We've been flipping thru some old school (ha!) yearbooks - and came across a pic of Jon, sporting a goofy smile amongst his classmates.

I then searched thru some of my own son's class pics because I was SURE that Callum had done something quite similar.... 🤓😍
