Statue of Liberty 🗽

Overcast, wet, and chilly today, but we stuck with it!! Had fun exploring, and learning about, Lady Liberty Enlightening the World.🗽

We also went cray cray with some over the top milkshakes before a little shopping and rest back at the hotel. 😆😁

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

A year ago, I decided to do something a little crazy, and get tickets to see a Broadway show with my three loves. ❤️❤️❤️

Last night's show was amazing - and ended with a pretty spectacular cliffhanger! 😱 Luckily, we'll be back tonight for Part II. ✌🏼😉

Around town

After the Empire State Building, we found a delicious bagel shop nearby, since Jon and Callum had been itching to try out NY bagels. Jon says everything at home is now ruined for him. LOL

Logan isn't as big of a bagel guy but have no fear, he got his carb itch scratched by one of the (many, many, many!) street carts selling pretzels, which he loved. :)

During our walk back to the hotel, we experienced some crazy sensory overload in a "Line Friends" store (which our boys instantly now love - imagine that). Phew!

NYC!

We're taking a long weekend trip and just landed in the vibrant New York City! ✌🏼

Took awhile getting into the city (several road blocks kept diverting us further away, instead of closer, to our hotel!), but finally made it, with plenty of time to explore our 'hood for the next few days and fill our bellies with delicious noodles and gelato! 😋

French Fair

Stopped by the local French Fair today for some music, art, fashion, and of course, crepes!! 😋

I made Logan smile for me in the top pic - but, this one is probably a closer depiction of how he really feels about the first day of school.  ;-)

And this one is a great "stealth" pic that a friend of mine/fellow Mom snapped at school, while the kids were getting off the bus/arriving! :)

The new addition to our home...

Last weekend, Jon snuck off to "pick up a surprise for me", but then returned home empty handed, saying it was too big to move. 

I wondered with the boys - what sort of surprise is too big? Logan thought - maybe it's a car? I said naaah, he could've just driven it home! Hmmm, he said, then it must be a bathtub. 🤔 

Babe, thank you so much, for not giving me a bathtub. 😆😘
