¡Hola California! 😎

In the time it took us to load our suitcases in the car and say hello to our driver, the boys went ahead and passed out. 😆😴

Until next time Europe! 👋🏼

Spent yesterday exploring more areas of London, searching for the “perfect” souvenir for Callum (every. single. shop. we stopped in didn’t have the right thing!😆) and enjoying our last British afternoon tea for the trip.

About to board our long flight home. Will miss it here but also really looking forward to sleeping in our own beds again!

These guys have had their moments where they really push each others' buttons.
But, they also get along SO DAMN WELL.

He finally found his perfect souvenir! A puppet of a guard! LOL

Our last ride on the tube! :(

Reading to each other while we wait (in another looooong line) to check in!

Au revoir, Paris! ❤️ 👋🏼

We had to check out of our flat this morning but our train back to London didn’t leave until the late afternoon - so we stored our luggage at the train station and hiked on over to Montmartre once more to grab a last bit of ice cream, watch the local artists do their thang, and wander the streets. 😁

Jon has taught Logan how to play cribbage this trip so they played several games during our ride back to London. Meanwhile, Callum and I napped on and off😉

After we arrived in London, Callum turned to me and said “Mom - remember - these last two days are relaxing days! No more long walks or seeing churches!” 🤣🤷

We’re staying at the same little hotel that the boys and I stayed at the first couple of nights we were here - so they immediately knew where we were and where to go, as we showed up for check in, and later as we walked to a nearby pub for dinner.  Logan and I laughed at ourselves for saying “Pardon!” and “Merci!” so automatically around these parts. 🙊

A sculpture outside Gare du Nord called "Maison Fond" (or, the melting house), also a pun on the similar sounding "Mes enfants" (my children) - reminding us of the potential dangers of global warming (to both our life/future generations, as well as our infrastructure).

English as a second language

That time when Jonathan sounded like Jennifer... 🤣
