Au revoir, Paris! ❤️ πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

We had to check out of our flat this morning but our train back to London didn’t leave until the late afternoon - so we stored our luggage at the train station and hiked on over to Montmartre once more to grab a last bit of ice cream, watch the local artists do their thang, and wander the streets. πŸ˜

Jon has taught Logan how to play cribbage this trip so they played several games during our ride back to London. Meanwhile, Callum and I napped on and offπŸ˜‰

After we arrived in London, Callum turned to me and said “Mom - remember - these last two days are relaxing days! No more long walks or seeing churches!” πŸ€£πŸ€·

We’re staying at the same little hotel that the boys and I stayed at the first couple of nights we were here - so they immediately knew where we were and where to go, as we showed up for check in, and later as we walked to a nearby pub for dinner.  Logan and I laughed at ourselves for saying “Pardon!” and “Merci!” so automatically around these parts. πŸ™Š

A sculpture outside Gare du Nord called "Maison Fond" (or, the melting house), also a pun on the similar sounding "Mes enfants" (my children) - reminding us of the potential dangers of global warming (to both our life/future generations, as well as our infrastructure).
