Eiffel Tower

Logan has wanted to visit Paris for awhile - and the big item on his list was to see the Eiffel Tower! Our morning was filled with excitement - both because we were late getting there by our entrance time (luckily I found a nice guard to let us sneak past the long lines and enter!) and because once we were in line, military guards came out to shut down the entrance, clear the area and hold hundreds of us in suspension.

Then, a poor (and, I’m sure, extremely embarrassed) man with his two small kids walked through the security barricade, only to return with a forgotten bag, likely left unattended on the lift. Whoops!!

Next we headed to see the Arc de Triomphe, walk Champs-ร‰lysรฉes, and finally return to our ‘hood for an amazing sweet afternoon treat of delicious crepes. Callum said we’ll need to stop there for dessert every day.

After an evening break at the apartment, we ventured out again, and had a super lovely Italian dinner at a local spot, hidden in an upstairs flat, converted into a restaurant! and then meandered our way back home through the lively Parisian streets once more.

Woot woot! Home isn't TOO far away. ๐Ÿ˜‰
