Musée du Louvre

“There is nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with chocolate.”

Our first stop of the day was at a delicious boulangerie, just down our street, so that Logan (and I) could get a croissant fix in! 😋

Next stop - the chocolate museum Choco-Story Paris - where we not only learned the extensive history of chocolate, but took a class on how to make a number of different treats! So fun!!

After, we hiked over to the Marais district to lunch at the amazing L’As du Fallafel, where we had quite the wait after a really long walk.... so guess who was grumpy?! (Check out how much he perked up after his Orangina arrived 🤷) After we ate, Callum asked if we could come back again, since it was so good. 😉

We were already pretty beat - so we took a short break back at the flat for a little bit, before venturing back out across the river to The Louvre! 🙌🏼 I had signed us up for a private tour, specifically geared for kids, and it was perfect. The guide sprinkled in scavenger hunt clues along the way, which really kept them engaged and interested in their art history lesson for the day. Très bien! 👏🏼

A moustache cup! :)

Ready to get our chocolatiering on!

My finished treats. Not bad, eh?

Someone was grumpy because I sat in the booth seat.....

When all else fails, give the crabby kid some sugary soda and he'll start smiling again. 😂

I hadn't remembered this area from my last visit! So I felt like I saw something new too (and loved it)! 👍🏼

The "Heart" family stamps, on the stones used to build the castle walls.

The obligatory pic of Mona Lisa by herself.
