My mom and I are going out to the opera (seeing La Boheme) tonight to celebrate my mom's birthday and mother's day (both tomorrow).

Pony Ride

Ending our day at the Faire with a BIG GIANT horsie ride.

The most expensive slide ride ever

We're at the Children's Faire in Los Gatos. Everything costs in tickets. What Logan didn't understand was that we had to wait in (a long ass) line to ride this slide, and because it cost multiple tickets to go on, they let you go for a number of minutes. But, Logan was ready to move onto the next thing after one turn down the monstrous structure. And, of course, assumed he could return to the slide later, which he couldn't (without Mommy forking over more tickets and stand in another 20 min line, which I wasn't about to do).

You're going with Daddy today.

Not this morning, but I'll pick you up after school.

But, you have to share! Daddy put me to bed so you have to take me to school.

Logan likes to play a handful of different games on my iPhone, but one in particular called Kiko.  So, this evening, I'm finishing up some work while he's playing on my phone, sitting by my side.

A few levels in, he gets stuck and a bit frustrated.

Oh crap!  It's not working.

What did you just say?

I said 'Oh crap'.

Logan, you shouldn't say that.

Fast forward to me showing him how to get past the level he was stuck on and he says,

Good job, Mama!

I guess he's learning?  Oy.
